Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the linkedirn.click website and any videography services booked with Dolly & Co. Films ("we," "us," "our"), owned and operated by Marcus Bell in Nashville, Tennessee. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Dolly & Co. Films provides cinematic wedding and event videography services, including but not limited to full wedding films, same-day highlight edits, drone/aerial coverage, and corporate or private event videography. Specific deliverables, coverage hours, and pricing for each engagement are outlined in a separate signed service agreement provided at the time of booking.

2. Booking, Deposits & Payment

• A signed service agreement and non-refundable deposit (typically 30% of the total package price) are required to reserve your date.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Dates are held on a first-deposit-received basis and are not considered confirmed until both the signed agreement and deposit are received.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because we turn away other clients once your date is reserved, our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, as they compensate us for holding your date.
• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event date will not be charged the remaining balance.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of the event date remain responsible for the full contracted balance, unless the date is successfully rebooked with another client.
• One complimentary reschedule is available with at least 30 days' notice, subject to Marcus Bell's availability on the new date.

4. Delivery Timelines

Same-day highlight reels (where included in your package) are delivered at your reception. Full highlight films are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of the event. Complete feature films and ceremony cuts are typically delivered within 8–10 weeks. Timelines may extend during peak wedding season (April–November) and will be communicated in advance.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

• Dolly & Co. Films retains copyright ownership of all raw and edited footage.
• Clients receive a personal-use license to download, share, and print their delivered films and stills for non-commercial purposes.
• We may use footage from your event for portfolio, marketing, website, and social media purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to your event date.
• Raw, unedited footage is not included in standard packages and may be purchased separately as an add-on where available.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details (timeline, venue contacts, permissions for filming on private property) and for obtaining any venue-required insurance or vendor authorizations needed for our crew to film on-site.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take extensive precautions (backup cameras, dual memory cards, redundant audio), Dolly & Co. Films is not liable for footage loss due to equipment failure, acts of God, venue restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such rare cases, our liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected portion of services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, illness, or venue closure. In such cases we will work in good faith to reschedule services.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Terms specific to a booked event are governed by the signed service agreement in effect at time of booking.
